Housekeeping Ops
Automatic cleaning schedules based on check-outs and stayovers, mobile task cards for housekeepers, maintenance tickets and lost-and-found log — all inside the same platform.
The Housekeeping Ops module reads the tape chart directly and produces the day's cleaning plan without a spreadsheet or a WhatsApp group. Check-outs become full turnovers, stayovers become touch-ups, arriving VIPs get an early make-up, and out-of-order rooms show a maintenance card instead of a clean card.
Each housekeeper gets a mobile task list — no separate hardware, it runs in any smartphone browser. Rooms show priority order, expected time to clean, any special notes from the guest CRM such as allergies, extra pillows or no-turndown, and the current status of the room. A tap moves a room from dirty to clean to inspected to ready.
The desk sees the same view in real time. When housekeeping marks room 302 as ready, reception can check the arriving guest in immediately — no radios, no waiting on the daily status sheet, no paper checklists to lose behind the desk.
Deep-clean rotation rules add cyclical tasks: a deeper carpet clean every thirty stayovers, a mattress rotation every ninety days, a filter change every sixty. These appear as scheduled tasks alongside the daily turnover work and roll forward if a room is not free on the scheduled date.
Maintenance tickets can be raised from any screen. A housekeeper notices a broken lamp — one tap opens a ticket, attaches a photo, routes the request to the maintenance queue and blocks the room if the issue prevents another guest staying. The ticket carries through to invoicing if a service provider needs to be billed against it.
The lost-and-found log records where and when items were found, matches them against departed reservations through the guest profile, and lets reception close out claims with a return-shipping label — everything on the same guest record used since the reservation was first opened.
