TG Guest Talk
For hotels

Talkguest for independent and boutique hotels.

Guest Talk was designed on a boutique property in Lisbon and it shows in the reception flow. If you run an independent hotel between 8 and 80 keys — this is the shortest path from your current stack to a modern operations hub.

Boutique hotel reception in Lisbon
What changes on day one

Reception moves off spreadsheets

The tape chart replaces the printed daily list on the desk. Group check-ins that used to take forty-five minutes take under ten because the whole group is a single ribbon and the passport scans attach to each reservation as they come in. Deposits are captured at booking; no-shows are auto-processed against the cancellation policy; walk-ins take less than fifteen seconds when the room is set.

Reception gets a WhatsApp inbox for the first time. Every reservation opens a conversation and the pre-arrival flow sends the address, the parking note, and the airport transfer offer without a receptionist typing a word. A guest replying at 22:30 with an arrival time gets an automatic reply the reception team can review the next morning.

What boutique hotels ask us at the first call

How do we migrate our historic guest CRM? The migration hub pulls guest profiles from every mainstream PMS. Notes and allergies come across as searchable fields on the profile.

Will Talkguest keep our brand voice on WhatsApp? Templates are yours, edited in your language. The auto-reply layer is a starting point; every property tweaks the tone in the first week.

Can we keep our current PSP? Yes — Stripe, SumUp, Mollie, Adyen, Redsys and Ifthenpay are natively integrated. Card tokenisation happens on the PSP; we never store card numbers.

What about our website? The direct booking widget embeds in any website — WordPress, Squarespace, Framer, custom. If you want a full replacement, we work with three boutique web studios in Lisbon and Porto and can introduce you.

What if our restaurant needs to see the reservation? The restaurant view is a filtered angle on the reservation with allergies, guest names and room numbers — no financials. Runs on any tablet at the maître d' station.

Can staff work in Portuguese while I work in English? Yes. Every user picks their interface language; the platform is fully translated into Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Dutch.

Do we need to change our OTA connections? No — Talkguest replaces your current channel manager. During onboarding we pull existing bookings from Booking, Expedia, Airbnb and reassign them to Talkguest as the master. The switch takes an afternoon.

How much of the two-week onboarding do we actually run ourselves? Four sessions of about one hour each. The rest happens between your onboarding engineer and your systems.

What if we want to leave in six months? Cancel with no exit fee, we return every byte of data within 30 days, delete it within a further 60 days. See the refund policy for the full detail.
